Tragic Incident in Colorado Springs: Authorities Seek Mother of Three Children Involved in Fatal Apartment Incident
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV/Gray News) – In a deeply distressing incident that shook the community, law enforcement officials in Colorado Springs are urgently searching for the mother of three children after a heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded in an apartment complex last week.

According to a report by KKTV, the local police department received a distressing 911 call shortly before 12:30 a.m. on December 19th, reporting a burglary at an apartment complex located on Palomino Ranch Point near Tutt and Stetson Hills.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers were confronted with a devastating sight. Two young children, a 9-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy, had tragically lost their lives. Additionally, an 11-year-old girl and an adult woman sustained injuries requiring medical attention.
The injured adult woman has been identified as 35-year-old Kimberlee Singler, who also happens to be the mother of all three children residing in the apartment. As the investigation progressed, authorities obtained an arrest warrant for Singler on charges of Murder in the First Degree, child abuse, and assault, establishing probable cause.
Disturbingly, the initial report of a burglary, which had prompted the emergency call, was found to be unfounded as the investigation unfolded, leaving the authorities grappling with the tragic reality of the situation.

In a bid to ensure Singler’s apprehension, the court has set a substantial $10 million bond. However, the whereabouts of Kimberlee Singler remain unknown, as she was last seen on Saturday.
In a glimmer of hope amid the dark circumstances, law enforcement officials have confirmed that the 11-year-old girl is safe and accounted for, assuaging concerns for her well-being.
Presently, the investigation is ongoing, and the Colorado Springs Police Department and Crime Stoppers have urged individuals who possess any information or may have witnessed the incident to come forward and assist in the inquiry.
