Man Wanted After Allegedly Stealing Vehicle in Hattiesburg
MAGEE, Miss. (WLBT) – Authorities are on the lookout for a man who allegedly stole a vehicle in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. The Magee Police Department has been notified about the possible presence of the suspect in the Magee area.

According to the Magee Police, officers successfully located the stolen vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. However, the driver refused to comply and instead led the police on a high-speed chase through the city.
During the pursuit, the suspect was identified as Monkenly McNair, who was driving the stolen vehicle. As the chase intensified, McNair abandoned the vehicle in the vicinity of 9th Avenue Northwest and fled the scene on foot, evading capture.
The search for McNair is now underway, with multiple law enforcement agencies involved in the effort. Additionally, it has been revealed that McNair is also wanted for previous felony charges in Simpson County, as confirmed by the police.
