Suspect in Fatal Shooting at Woodland Hills Mall Arrested
TULSA, Okla. (KFOR) – After a fatal shooting incident at Woodland Hills mall in Tulsa, the suspect has been apprehended by law enforcement authorities. The shooting took place on Tuesday, December 26, when an argument between two individuals escalated outside one of the mall’s north doors. The confrontation resulted in one person drawing out a firearm and shooting the other.
The victim, identified as Kierstan “KJ” Love, was immediately rushed to the hospital in critical condition. Unfortunately, Love succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday night.
Tulsa Police announced on Thursday, December 28, that they have successfully taken the suspect into custody. The alleged shooter, Deonte Crump, a 20-year-old individual, was arrested at his residence. Crump now faces charges of First Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm While Under DOC Supervision.
It is important to note that an arrest does not equate to a conviction. The investigation into this tragic incident is ongoing, and the legal process will determine the ultimate outcome.
