Lucknow Transporter Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances

Lucknow: A 57-year-old transporter from Khurramnagar was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Mohammed Khizir Siddiqui, allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with a licensed revolver, according to the police.

The blood-soaked body of the transporter was discovered at STP number nine on Kukrail Bundha Road. Siddiqui had left his house on Tuesday evening and did not return. When his family members reported him missing, the Khurram Nagar police were informed.

Local residents later found Siddiqui’s body near Kukrail bridge and immediately informed the police. Upon investigation, the forensic team discovered blackening on the right side of Siddiqui’s head. The bullet had passed through his head, indicating a case of suicide.

The police recovered Siddiqui’s Aadhaar card, four cartridges, and a revolver from the scene. Siddiqui had left his mobile phone and purse at home before leaving, further suggesting that he took his own life.
