Memphis Police Searching for Suspect in Fatal Shooting in Whitehaven
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Authorities in Memphis are on the lookout for a suspect following the tragic shooting death of a woman in the Whitehaven neighborhood on Christmas Eve.
According to the Memphis Police Department, officers responded to a shooting incident in the vicinity of the 1600 block of East Holmes Road at approximately 3:30 a.m.

The victim, identified as Laneshia Bledsoe, was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities have obtained surveillance footage that shows the individual responsible for the shooting walking in the area of East Holmes and Hudgins Road.
