Luke Miller died on Boxing Day (North Yorkshire Police)

A young man, identified as Luke Miller, tragically lost his life on Boxing Day in a stabbing incident that occurred in North Yorkshire. The 23-year-old was found by police at Rosemary Court in Tadcaster at 7.20am, following reports of a serious injury sustained by a male individual.

Efforts were made by paramedics to save Mr. Miller’s life; however, he was pronounced dead “a short time later.” The post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was a single stab wound to his chest.

In a heart-wrenching statement, the grieving parents of Luke Miller expressed their deep sorrow, stating, “There are no words that can truly describe the utter devastation that we, as a family, feel following the loss of our beloved son Luke. Our hearts are shattered, and our world has been torn apart. Luke will remain in our hearts forever and always.”

Following the incident, a 22-year-old man has been apprehended and charged with murder. He is set to appear in court later on Thursday.
