Investigation Underway After Homicide in East Hartford

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in the state has determined that the death of Juan Morales, whose age and town of residence have not been disclosed, was a result of a gunshot wound to the neck and torso. The incident is being treated as a homicide.

The lifeless body of Morales was discovered on Tuesday evening near the cemetery on Burnside Avenue in East Hartford, according to the local police department. Officer Marc Caruso, the spokesperson for the East Hartford Police Department, stated that officers responded to a call about an unresponsive individual lying by the side of the road around 9:20 p.m.

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials confirmed the identity of the deceased as Morales. It was determined that he had sustained a gunshot wound, leading to his untimely demise. The police are actively investigating the incident and gathering further information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
