Astonishing Moment of Ambush in Queens Leaves Mother Dead

No arrests have been made yet.

New York: A shocking and disturbing video footage has captured the horrifying moment when three armed individuals ambushed a vehicle in Queens, resulting in the tragic and fatal shooting of a 28-year-old mother who was seated in the front passenger seat.

The victim, identified as 28-year-old Clarisa Burgos, was innocently sitting in a black Honda sedan when the heart-wrenching tragedy unfolded on 26th October. The assailants cunningly intercepted her car near the intersection of 127th Street and Liberty Avenue in Richmond Hill.

The male driver, aged 39, who was also present in the vehicle, sustained grave injuries during the brutal attack. Unfortunately, Burgos lost her life immediately after being shot in the head, as reported by the renowned New York Post. “We have raised her in a good way, showering her with love,” expressed Burgos’ grieving aunt. “Only God knows what has happened to her.”

According to a report by Gothamist, Burgos leaves behind a four-year-old son, who will now have to grow up without the love and care of his beloved mother. The chilling and distressing video footage captures two men, dressed in dark clothing, crossing the street and approaching the target vehicle with a nefarious intent. A third man can be seen nonchalantly walking by the car on the sidewalk. Suddenly, one of the assailants draws a gun and ruthlessly fires multiple shots into the driver’s side window, while another attacker fires from behind him. Despite being wounded, the courageous driver tries to accelerate and escape the clutches of the assailants. The video clearly depicts one suspect positioning himself in front of the car on the sidewalk, firing shots through the front windshield and the driver’s side window.

Subsequently, the victim’s car gradually drives away from the scene of the crime, leaving behind a horrifying sight, as the three armed gunmen hastily flee from the scene. The driver, determined to survive, later seeks help at the NYPD’s 103rd precinct station house, which is situated approximately 2.5 miles away from the crime scene. The driver promptly informs the police that both he and Burgos have been shot.

The driver, showing immense resilience in the face of adversity, sustains approximately six gunshot wounds to his torso and is immediately rushed to the reputable Jamaica Hospital Medical Center for immediate medical attention. Thankfully, his condition is reported as stable. However, the situation takes a tragic turn for Clarisa Burgos, who is tragically declared dead on the spot. As of Wednesday, 27th December, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind this horrific crime remains undetermined. The connection between Burgos and the driver continues to remain shrouded in mystery, leaving investigators with a daunting task of piecing together the puzzle.
