A bouncer employed in Delhi tragically lost his life when a fire broke out in his room during his sleep. The incident occurred in New Manglapuri area of the national capital, and the victim has been identified as Viney Arora.

The 36-year-old bouncer was found in a severely burned condition in his ground-floor room on Anganwari Wali Gali. Local authorities were informed about the incident through a PCR call on Wednesday evening, following which a police team arrived at the scene and recovered the body.

Upon investigation, officials discovered that the room’s door, which was latched from the inside, had been forcibly broken. Viney Arora was found lying on the floor amidst burnt materials, including a chair, cloth, and a burning coal brazier (angithi).

In response to the situation, both the Delhi fire station and a forensic team were summoned to the location. The Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) ambulance was also called, and their medical staff pronounced the victim dead at the scene, according to the police.

The authorities have sent Viney Arora’s body for a post-mortem examination. The incident is currently under investigation to determine the cause and circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
