Capitola Woman Still Missing, Boyfriend Named Primary Person of Interest

Capitola, United Kingdom – January 25, 2023

The search for Alice “Alyx” Kamakaokalani Herrmann, a 61-year-old woman from Capitola, continues as she remains missing for over three weeks. The Capitola Police Department has announced that her boyfriend, identified as the primary person of interest in the case, is not cooperating with the investigation.

Herrmann was last seen in Santa Cruz on December 3, prompting concerns of a possible homicide. The authorities have reason to believe that she may have fallen victim to foul play.

According to the Capitola Police Department, evidence discovered during the investigation has led them to suspect that Herrmann has become a victim of a homicide.

Herrmann’s car was found parked outside the El Cerrito residence of Theobald “Theo” Lengyel, her 54-year-old boyfriend who is a saxophone player in the rock band “Mr. Bungle.” Lengyel, who also goes by the name Mylo Stone, has been uncooperative with the authorities.

The relatives of Herrmann officially reported her missing on December 12 after she failed to board her scheduled flight to Hawaii. The El Cerrito Police Department revealed that Lengyel had driven from El Cerrito to Portland, Oregon, following Herrmann’s disappearance. The Capitola Police Department has taken the lead in the investigation and is working in collaboration with the ECPD and Portland Police.

Alice Herrmann is a Pacific Islander, standing at 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds. She has hazel eyes and brown hair. Her boyfriend, Theo Lengyel, is a white man, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with brown eyes and hair.

Both Lengyel’s blue 1989 Ford pickup truck with the license plate “UNCLDRT” and Herrmann’s red Toyota Highlander SUV are now in police custody.
