Bouncer Allegedly Charred to Death in New Delhi

New Delhi: A bouncer working in Delhi was tragically killed in his sleep after a fire broke out in his room. The incident occurred in the New Manglapuri area of the national capital, according to the police.

The victim, identified as Viney Arora, was found in a severely burnt condition in his ground-floor room in Anganwari Wali Gali in New Mangalapuri. The Fatehpur Beri Police were informed about the incident through a PCR call on Wednesday evening. Upon receiving the information, a police team immediately arrived at the location and discovered the charred body.

Authorities stated that the 36-year-old victim was found lying on the floor amidst burned materials, including a chair, cloth, and an angithi (a traditional coal brazier). The door, which was locked from the inside, had been forcefully broken. The room’s chair and clothes were also damaged by the fire.

Upon notification, a team from the Delhi fire station and a forensic team were dispatched to the scene. Centralised Accident and Trauma Services (CATS) ambulance was summoned, and their personnel pronounced the victim dead. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem examination, and a thorough investigation into the incident is underway.
