85-Year-Old Birmingham Man Dies in Tragic St. Clair County Crash

The victim, identified as Ivey L. Mason, tragically perished after his vehicle veered off the roadway, collided with a tree, and subsequently burst into flames. The incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Kelly Creek Road, near McCrory Road, located north of Moody. The authorities pronounced Mr. Mason dead at the crash site.
