Two Punjab Home Guard Jawans killed in Road Accident in Mohali
Two Punjab Home Guard (PHG) jawans tragically lost their lives in a fatal road accident on Barwala road in Derabassi town of Mohali in the early hours of Wednesday. The collision occurred between their vehicle and a canter, leading to the untimely demise of the jawans. The local police have promptly registered a First Information Report (FIR) and seized the canter involved in the accident. The cremation ceremony of the deceased jawans will be conducted with full honors.
According to Dr. Darpan Ahluwalia, the Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Derabassi, the victims have been identified as Jasmer Singh (52) and Hari Singh (54). The unfortunate incident took place at approximately 1:30 am while the jawans were on active duty.
