Jamaica, Queens Shooting: Man Drives Bullets-Riddled Car to Police Precinct After Passenger Killed

An injured man drove his sedan, riddled with bullets, to a police precinct in Jamaica, Queens after gunmen opened fire on Tuesday night, resulting in the death of his passenger.

The 39-year-old driver sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the chest during the incident, which took place around 127th Street and Liberty Avenue in Richmond Hill, just after 11:55 p.m.

Despite his injuries, the driver managed to drive to the 103rd Precinct on 91st Avenue, where he parked his black Honda sedan with New Jersey license plates on the corner and sought assistance from the authorities.

Tragically, his 28-year-old female passenger, identified as Clarisa Burgos of Brooklyn, was struck in the head by gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the police, at least two gunmen unleashed a hail of bullets on both sides of the vehicle, firing a total of 16 rounds.

The driver was rushed to Jamaica Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.

Detectives are currently investigating whether the victims were driving or parked at the time of the attack.
