According to officials from the sheriff’s office, all three individuals have been charged with open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are currently incarcerated.

The investigation into the incident began when law enforcement responded to a call at approximately 4:15 a.m. about a disturbance at a residence located near Leslie Street and Wilson Road.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that the homeowner, Jonathon Reyes, had been fatally shot. Reyes had reportedly detained an unidentified person in his backyard at gunpoint prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

Based on their investigation, authorities identified Parrett, Pfeifer, and Vazzo as the primary suspects involved in the shooting. The sheriff’s office stated that there was a prior connection between the suspects and the victim, indicating that the incident was not a random act of violence.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information relevant to the investigation to contact them directly at 775-751-7000. Alternatively, anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
