Three Arrested on Murder Charges in Nye County, Nevada

NYE COUNTY, Nev. (KOLO) – Three individuals have been detained in Nye County on charges of open murder and conspiracy to commit murder. The suspects were apprehended in connection with the tragic incident that unfolded early Tuesday morning.

The Nye County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call from Jonathan Reyes, a resident on West Wilson Road in Pahrump, at approximately 4:15 a.m. Reyes reported holding an unknown person at gunpoint in his backyard. However, upon the arrival of NCSO personnel, Reyes was discovered shot and killed.

The authorities have identified the three suspects involved in the case as Edward Parrett, CJ Lee Pfeifer Jr., and Stefanie Erin Vazzo. While Vazzo and Pfeifer were apprehended on Tuesday, Parrett was taken into custody on Wednesday.

Law enforcement officials have determined that the victim and the suspects were acquainted, indicating that this was not a random act of violence.
