PORTAGE, Ind. – In a miraculous turn of events, a man has been rescued after spending several days trapped under a bridge along Interstate 94 in Northwest Indiana following a devastating crash. The incident has left the local community in awe and emergency crews astounded by the man’s survival.

The rescue operation was initiated at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday when two men, Nivardo Delatorre and his father-in-law Mario Garcia, stumbled upon the crashed vehicle while scouting for fishing locations near Salt Creek beneath the bridge.
