Upon his arrest, Dilan was taken into custody and a bail amount of $25,000 was set.

Earlier that day, at 12:19 p.m., a taxi driver in the area reported that he had transported a person named Paul Dilan from Anaheim, but the passenger failed to pay for the service.

The taxi driver informed the authorities that he dropped off Dilan at the intersection of First Street and Heil Avenue, from where the suspect left on foot without settling the fare.

The 62-year-old taxi driver, who was driving a black minivan, did not receive the $633 fare for the trip. However, he chose not to press charges against Dilan.

According to police records, prior to 9 p.m. on Monday, a woman lodged a complaint about a verbal attack by a man at a residence located in the 100 block of Heil.

The woman informed the police that the suspect was seen snooping around vehicles parked at the scene, leading to a confrontation.

Police officers promptly responded to the incident and arrested a man matching the description provided by the complainant. The man was identified as Paul Dilan and was subsequently transported to the County Jail for further processing.
