Soldiers from Givati Brigade Sacrifice Lives in Ongoing Conflict with Hamas
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have sadly confirmed the deaths of three brave soldiers in the continuing conflict with Hamas in Gaza. This tragic development brings the toll of IDF soldiers lost in battle to a devastating 164.

The fallen soldiers have been identified as Lieutenant Yaron Eliezer Chitiz, Sergeant Itai Bouton, and Sergeant Ephraim Yachman. All three were dedicated members of the esteemed Givati Brigade, renowned for their valor and commitment to defending Israel.
Lieutenant Yaron Eliezer Chitiz, a valiant soldier just 23 years old from Ra’anana, served as the deputy company commander in the esteemed Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade. Tragically, he lost his life during a fierce battle in the northern region of the Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Itai Bouton, a courageous fighter aged 20 from Petach Tikva, was an integral part of the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade. He made the ultimate sacrifice, falling in combat in the northern Gaza Strip.

Sergeant Ephraim Yachman, a brave 21-year-old from Maneva Daniel, served as a dedicated fighter in the Shaked Battalion of the Givati Brigade. Tragically, he also lost his life in the northern area of the Gaza Strip.
The IDF has posthumously promoted Sergeant Ephraim Yachman to the rank of sergeant, honoring his bravery and sacrifice.
The families of these fallen soldiers have been notified of their devastating loss, and the nation mourns alongside them during this heartbreaking time.
