Tragic Homicide in Appleton Claims the Life of 22-Year-Old Elijah Dodson from Milwaukee

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – In a devastating incident that unfolded on Christmas Eve, the Appleton community mourns the loss of Elijah Dodson, a 22-year-old resident from Milwaukee who became the victim of a heinous homicide on South Walnut Street.

The Appleton Police Department has confirmed the victim’s identity, shedding light on the tragic circumstances surrounding Dodson’s untimely death.

The incident unfolded in the early hours of December 24 when the Appleton Police Department received multiple reports of gunshots in the vicinity of the 100 block of South Walnut Street.

Immediate medical aid was administered before transporting Dodson to a nearby hospital.
