Tragic Accident in Reasi District Leaves Two Dead and 12 Injured
On Monday, a devastating incident occurred in Reasi district, claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving 12 others injured. The accident took place when a minibus, carrying a wedding party, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge, according to the local police.
The victims have been identified as Mohammad Ashraf, aged 25, and a 17-year-old youth. Their lives were tragically cut short due to this unfortunate incident.
According to a police officer, the ill-fated bus was en route from Balmatkote to Badar village when it veered off the road and fell into a gorge near Dhamini at approximately 6 am.

Rescue efforts were immediately initiated, and Mohammad Ashraf was found deceased at the scene. The remaining 13 individuals, including nine girls aged between three and 19 years, were rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Tragically, the 17-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries while receiving medical care.
