Santa Monica Man Suffers Serious Injuries in Christmas Eve Stabbing

A resident of Santa Monica, California was left with severe injuries after being stabbed in the head and various other parts of his body in his own apartment on Christmas Eve, according to a statement released by the local police.

The incident was reported to the Santa Monica Police Department at approximately 11:26 p.m. on December 24th. Officers quickly responded to the scene, which was located in the 1400 block of 14th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim with significant facial injuries and stab wounds on his forehead, neck, and back.

The Santa Monica Police Department stated, “Despite his injuries, the victim was conscious and able to provide a description of his attacker, who is known to him.”

An eyewitness alerted the SMPD officers to an argument that had taken place prior to the incident. The witness was able to identify the suspect as 29-year-old Christopher Clay Williams. Police located Williams in the 1300 block of Alley 14 and promptly arrested him on suspicion of attempted homicide. The victim was then transported to a local hospital, and his current condition remains unknown.
