Arrest of Suspect: Joselito Lariba

The alleged attacker, Joselito Lariba, known by his alias “Insik,” a 25-year-old resident of Sitio Bagong Buhay, Barangay Carreta, has been apprehended by the authorities. The Mabolo Police Station 4, under the supervision of Police Major Eraño Regidor, diligently conducted an inquiry into the incidents and successfully captured the suspect.

A Terrifying Encounter

According to the investigation conducted by the Mabolo Police Station 4, Crystal Mae Labor Ongos was purchasing ice water from a nearby store, a short distance away from her son’s wake. It was during this moment that she noticed the suspect approaching her.

Realizing the danger, Ongos attempted to flee for her life, but the suspect pursued and captured her. In a desperate plea for mercy, the victim begged Lariba, saying, “Don’t kill me because I still have children to feed.” However, the suspect callously ignored her pleas and proceeded to shoot her multiple times, resulting in her tragic death.
