Suspect in Custody and Victim Recovering After Stabbing in North Toledo

Toledo, Ohio – In a shocking incident that unfolded on Sunday evening, a suspect has been apprehended by the Toledo police, while the victim is currently recovering from wounds sustained in a stabbing incident in north Toledo.

According to the authorities, officers were alerted to the scene of the crime in the 300 block of Mettler Avenue at around 6:30 p.m. The victim, identified as a 38-year-old man from east Toledo, was discovered with a stab wound on his arm.

Transported to a nearby hospital, the victim’s injuries have been deemed non-life-threatening by the police. While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, the swift response of the law enforcement agencies resulted in the arrest of the suspect, 33-year-old Jessica Krise, hailing from east Toledo.

Jessica Krise has been charged with felonious assault and is currently in custody awaiting further legal proceedings. The Toledo police are actively investigating the incident to uncover any potential motives or factors leading to the stabbing.
