On December 5, 2008, law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Fosdick Circle, situated east of Knob Hill, in response to a report of an unconscious woman. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Sweet’s lifeless body lying face down on her porch, with an apparent gunshot wound. The circumstances surrounding her untimely demise have since been classified as a homicide, as confirmed by the results of her autopsy.
