Tragic Road Accident in Nong Chok District Leaves 26-Year-Old Man Dead
A devastating motor vehicle collision resulted in the death of a 26-year-old man and severe injuries to a 27-year-old woman in the Nong Chok district of Bang Pakong, Chachoengsao. The incident occurred last night, December 24, sending shockwaves through the local community.
Details of the Accident
The collision involved an Isuzu D-Max pickup truck with the registration number 1ฒพ2547 from Bangkok. The truck, heavily damaged and off-road, was discovered at the scene. Behind the wheel was 40-year-old Amorn, who suffered severe head injuries. Authorities promptly rescued him and transferred him to Chulalongkorn Hospital for immediate medical attention.

The 26-year-old victim, identified as Pachara, was riding a Honda Scoopy i motorcycle without a license plate. Tragically, his life came to an end as his body was found in a grassy roadside ditch, with fractured bones throughout. The authorities also found a strand of female hair and a shoe at the scene, indicating the presence of a female passenger on the motorcycle.
Further search efforts led to the discovery of the unconscious body of Piyawara, the 27-year-old female passenger. She was found in a grassy area and immediately transferred to Buddha Sothon Hospital due to her critical injuries.
Cause of the Accident
Initial investigations suggest that the collision occurred when Amorn attempted to overtake a truck. Unfortunately, he failed to notice the oncoming motorcycle, resulting in a devastating head-on collision. Eyewitnesses reported that the pickup truck was moving at a high speed before overtaking the truck and colliding with the motorcycle, causing both victims to be flung several tens of meters.
Legal Actions and Further Investigations
The police are set to question Amorn regarding the accident and conduct a blood test to determine his alcohol content. Based on the evidence and testimonies gathered, authorities will press charges accordingly.

A 21-year-old motorcycle rider, going against traffic, collided with a taxi, resulting in a fatal outcome.
