Fort Worth Woman, Founding Member of The Dixie Chicks, killed in Tragic Car Crash

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A devastating head-on collision on Friday night, December 22, along U.S. Highway 62 in Hudspeth County claimed the life of Laura Caroline Lynch, a 65-year-old woman from Fort Worth. The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified Lynch as a founding member of The Dixie Chicks, a renowned musical group that has recently been renamed as The Chicks. The crash, which occurred approximately 25 miles west of Dell City and 8 miles west of Cornudas, also left another individual injured.
