Fort Worth Woman, Founding Member of The Dixie Chicks, killed in Tragic Car Accident

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A devastating head-on collision on Friday night, December 22, along U.S. Highway 62 in Hudspeth County resulted in the tragic death of a 65-year-old woman from Fort Worth. The victim, identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety as Laura Caroline Lynch, was not only a resident of Fort Worth but also a founding member of the renowned musical group, The Dixie Chicks, which has since been rebranded as The Chicks.
