FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — A tragic incident unfolded in Friendswood, Texas, on Saturday when a 17-year-old teenager was accused of killing one man and injuring another in a shooting incident. The alleged gunman has been identified as Connor Hilton.

Connor Hilton now faces charges of two counts of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. Tragically, one of the victims, an 18-year-old young man, succumbed to his injuries and passed away. The Galveston County District Attorney’s Office is expected to review the case for possible upgraded charges in the coming days.
The shooting took place at approximately 9 p.m. on La Salle Street, which is located in a neighborhood off of FM 528.
Authorities are currently trying to determine the motive behind the shooting, which remains unknown at this time.
Hilton’s initial bond was set at $600,000 for both counts of aggravated assault. However, a judge later increased the bond amount to $1 million. Hilton was able to post bail and was released from jail on Sunday.
The other victim who was shot in the incident is currently in critical condition and receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
