All Women Police have apprehended a notorious 23-year-old criminal, L. Ajay, on charges of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl after coercing her with threats against her parents.

The victim, a Class X student at a government school, often found herself alone until her parents returned late from work. Exploiting this vulnerability, Ajay executed his heinous act on November 12, resorting to self-harm in front of the girl to intimidate her. He then took advantage of her fear and forced her to accompany him to his residence, where he committed the heinous crime.

The shocking incident came to light when the distressed girl confided in her mother on Sunday, revealing the horrifying events she had endured. Deeply concerned for her child’s well-being, the mother wasted no time and immediately lodged a police complaint, leading to the registration of a case under the stringent provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Acting swiftly, a specialized police team successfully apprehended Ajay and took him into custody. Following a detailed interrogation and obtaining his statement, he was subsequently remanded to judicial custody. It has come to light that Ajay has previously been involved in three separate criminal cases, further highlighting the gravity of his actions, according to the police.
