Begur Police Arrest 22-Year-Old Fabricator from Varanasi for Alleged Co-Worker Murder

BENGALURU: The Begur police have apprehended a 22-year-old fabricator from Varanasi in connection with the recent murder of his co-worker. The accused, identified as Dilkhush, was taken into custody for allegedly killing his colleague due to excessive work pressure. Dilkhush had migrated to Bengaluru three months ago in search of employment opportunities.
Working together at a building in Devarachikkanahalli (DC Halli), Dilkhush and his co-worker, Gulfam, a native of Murshidabad village in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, had frequent disagreements regarding their working hours. Gulfam, who claimed to possess more work experience, constantly exerted pressure on Dilkhush to increase his productivity.
Over time, Dilkhush became increasingly agitated by the situation. In a fit of rage, he attacked Gulfam while he was sleeping, bludgeoning his head with a stone. The horrific incident came to light when one of Gulfam’s relatives, who was residing in Bengaluru, lodged a missing person complaint with the Begur police.
The police’s suspicions were aroused when Dilkhush abruptly left for Varanasi immediately after the crime. Furthermore, he was the only individual residing with Gulfam at the building. Acting swiftly, the police dispatched personnel to Varanasi and successfully apprehended Dilkhush from his residence within 24 hours.
During the course of the investigation, Dilkhush confessed to his involvement in the murder. He revealed that he committed the crime as he felt overwhelmed by the excessive workload imposed on him by Gulfam. The Begur police have registered a case of murder against Dilkhush, and legal proceedings will commence accordingly.

Police got suspicious when Dilkhush left for Varanasi after the crime. Moreover, Dilkhush was the only one who had been staying at the building with Gulfam. Within 24 hours, police personnel went to Varanasi and nabbed Dilkhush from his residence. During the investigation, Dilkhush admitted to his offence and said he killed Gulfam because he felt overburdened with work. The Begur police have registered a case of murder.
