Tragic Death of 14-Year-Old Boy in Jaipur School

JAIPUR: In a heartbreaking incident, a 14-year-old boy studying in a private school in Jaipur passed away due to a suspected cardiac arrest. The incident took place outside his classroom in the Kardhani area of the city.

According to Head-constable Manoj Kumar of the Kardhani police station, the deceased has been identified as Yogesh Singh, a Class 9 student. On the morning of December 19, at around 8:30 am, Singh was heading to his classroom when he suddenly collapsed on his teacher.

“The school administration immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital, and from there, he was referred to SMS Hospital. However, despite the best efforts of the medical staff, he could not be saved,” Kumar said. He also mentioned that the body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem, and no foul play is suspected in this case.

Based on the opinions of the doctors, the cause of death is being treated as a cardiac arrest, and samples taken from the body are currently being examined. Vinod, a school official, stated that the elder brother of the deceased had dropped Singh off at the school that day.

“He was heading to his classroom, where some students had already arrived, while others were still on their way. The teacher was standing at the gate of the classroom when Singh suddenly fell on him,” she said.

She further added that the school authorities immediately provided medical care to Singh. “Despite the best efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved.”

After the incident came to the notice of the police, they rushed to the scene. A police official mentioned that the family has not raised any suspicion so far, and proper medical procedures were followed. However, it is yet to be confirmed if the student had any pre-existing medical conditions.
