Truck Driver and Helper killed in Train Accident Amid Heavy Fog in Jashore

Two individuals lost their lives in a tragic incident when a truck was struck by a train in Jashore during dense fog early this morning. The victims have been identified as Parvez Alam, aged 53, the truck driver, and Nazmul, aged 38, his helper. The news was reported by our correspondent in Benapole, quoting Shahidul Islam, the officer-in-charge of Jashore Railway Police Station.

According to eyewitnesses and locals, the accident occurred at around 5:30 am when a truck bound for Chougacha was hit by a train while crossing the Churamankati crossing. The heavy fog is believed to have contributed to the collision.
Following the incident, the bodies were rescued by fire service and police personnel, and the truck was cleared from the road. The bodies have been sent to Jashore General Hospital for autopsy.
