Shocking Incident in Mumbai’s Chunabhatti Area: Assailant Opens Fire, Killing One and Injuring Several Others

In a stunning turn of events in Mumbai’s Chunabhatti area, a horrifying incident unfolded as an assailant opened fire, resulting in the death of one person and leaving several others injured, including a minor. The deceased has been identified as Pappu Sumeet Yerunkar, a notorious individual with a notorious past involving extortion and attempted murder charges.

The tragic incident took place in Azad Galli on Sunday, around 3:15 pm, when an unidentified assailant unleashed a hail of bullets, firing at least 10 rounds, specifically targeting a group that included Yerunkar. In the wake of the attack, all the injured, including Yerunkar, were immediately rushed to Sion Hospital for critical medical attention, as confirmed by police officials. Unfortunately, Yerunkar could not survive the injuries and succumbed to the attack.

Accused Identified: Police on the Case

Following the shocking incident, the police swiftly sprung into action and deployed at least nine teams to track down the suspect responsible for the heinous crime. Investigators are currently treating the incident as a result of a personal rivalry, shedding light on the possible motives behind the assailant’s actions.
