Maple Park, Illinois – A 24-year-old woman has been hospitalized while three others sustained injuries following a
traffic crash in DeKalb County on Saturday.

According to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place at the intersection of Perry Road and Hinckley
Road in Maple Park. The authorities reported that a northbound Toyota Camry, driven by Juliano Cruz-Delgenio, 23, was
involved in the collision.

Cruz-Delgenio is alleged to have disregarded a stop sign near the intersection, resulting in a collision with a
Volkswagen Passat driven by 67-year-old Mark Zahn.

The passenger in Cruz-Delgenio’s vehicle, identified as 23-year-old Brittany Styles, suffered injuries in the crash.
She was promptly taken to Northwestern Delnor Hospital for medical treatment.

Mark Zahn, the driver of the Volkswagen Passat, along with his passenger and Cruz-Delgenio, also sustained injuries in
the incident. Both vehicles involved were rendered immobile and subsequently towed away from the scene.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances leading up to the crash to determine
any further legal actions that may need to be taken.
