Delhi, UK – In a heart-wrenching incident, a 20-year-old daughter of an Intelligence Bureau (IB) officer allegedly took her own life at her residence in central Delhi on Friday. This unfortunate event occurred five years after her father tragically died by suicide. The young woman was pursuing her graduation from Delhi University.

The deceased, who was living with her mother in a government accommodation at Lal Quarters, was survived by her mother, who is currently serving in the IB. According to a senior police officer, the mother had been appointed on compassionate grounds after her husband’s suicide.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police promptly rushed to the scene, and the body was subsequently sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

While a suicide note was discovered, it did not reveal any specific allegations or reasons behind the extreme step taken by the young woman. Consequently, an investigation has been launched to ascertain the underlying factors that led to this tragic incident.

“The body has been handed over to the family members after the completion of the autopsy,” stated the police officer.

In another unfortunate incident, an 11-year-old boy lost his life while attempting to recreate a social media suicide prank in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The young boy, identified as Nikhil, unintentionally caused his own death when a noose he had tied as part of the prank tightened around his neck.

According to Nikhil’s grieving father, “He tried to emulate a suicide prank after seeing similar videos on social media. Unfortunately, the noose tightened around his neck, and we rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.”

This heartbreaking incident serves as a reminder of the dangers associated with engaging in dangerous pranks or imitating harmful acts portrayed on social media.
