Rajasthan: Tragic Incident Claims Lives of Father and Infant Daughter in Room Heater Fire

Khairthal-Tijara, Rajasthan – In a heart-wrenching incident that unfolded on Friday night, a man and his three-month-old daughter were tragically charred to death after a room heater sparked a devastating fire. The incident occurred in the Shekhpur Police Station area, leaving the local community in shock and mourning.

The victims have been identified as Deepak Yadav, a dedicated driver, and his adorable three-month-old daughter, Nishika. Deepak’s wife, Sanju, who was also present in the room at the time of the incident, suffered severe burn injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.

As the news of the tragic incident spread, concerned neighbors swiftly came to the rescue and rushed the victims to a nearby hospital. Despite the best efforts of medical professionals, both Deepak and little Nishika tragically succumbed to their injuries, leaving behind a grieving family and community.

This unfortunate incident is not the first of its kind. In a similar incident that occurred earlier this year in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur, a woman and her two young daughters met a horrifying fate when a room heater triggered a fatal fire. The incident took place in Jalla village, under the jurisdiction of Kurara police station. The victims were identified as Anita (28) and her two daughters, Mohini (6) and Rohini (3). Preliminary investigations indicated that a short circuit in the room heater caused the fire, leading to this devastating outcome.

The recent tragedy serves as a solemn reminder of the potential dangers posed by room heaters, especially during the winter season.
