The U.S. Marshal Service is offering a substantial reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the apprehension of an individual who fled from a routine traffic stop and brandished a firearm while being pursued by law enforcement officials.

Authorities have announced a $5,000 reward for any credible information that may lead to the arrest of Garon Turner, the suspect wanted for aggravated assault, who is currently considered armed and dangerous.

The incident occurred in Clayton County when police officers initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Upper Riverdale Road and Tara Boulevard at approximately 11:36 p.m. on Wednesday.

According to the ongoing investigation, the suspect, identified as Garon Turner, abruptly fled from the vehicle upon the officers’ request.

During the ensuing pursuit, it was reported that Turner drew a handgun from his waistband, prompting the officers to discharge their weapons in response. Despite the gunfire, Turner managed to evade capture and fled the scene.
