Man Arrested in Colorado Springs Hit and Run Incident
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Police Department announced the arrest of a man involved in a hit and run crash on Sunday. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a shopping center on W. Fillmore St. around 8:30 PM.

During the investigation, officers learned that a nearby business employee had attempted to intervene in a robbery when the suspect ran over the individual with his vehicle.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Scotty Johnson, was taken into custody on Thursday and is facing charges of first-degree murder and robbery.
The victim, 33-year-old Devin Davidson, a resident of Colorado Springs, suffered life-threatening injuries and is currently hospitalized. Regrettably, his recovery is not expected.

In Colorado Springs, a man has been apprehended following a hit and run incident that took place on Sunday evening, as reported by the Colorado Springs Police Department. The occurrence unfolded in the parking lot of a shopping center situated on W. Fillmore St., at approximately 8:30 PM.
Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials discovered that an employee from a nearby establishment had bravely attempted to thwart a robbery when the suspect callously ran the individual over with his vehicle.
The suspect, identified as 29-year-old Scotty Johnson, was taken into custody on Thursday and is now facing charges of first-degree murder and robbery in relation to the incident.
The victim, 33-year-old Devin Davidson, a resident of Colorado Springs, suffered gravely life-threatening injuries as a result of the hit and run. Currently, he remains hospitalized, however, unfortunately, his prognosis is unfavorable and recovery is unlikely.
