Upon arrival at the scene, the officers diligently collected victim and witness statements, as well as physical evidence such as rifle casings. The suspect, identified as Yancy Webb, was subsequently identified as the perpetrator.

Due to the seriousness of the crime and the involvement of a rifle, the Sheriff’s SWAT team and detectives obtained a search warrant for Webb’s residence. They promptly executed the warrant, arresting Webb at his home. Following his apprehension, he was processed at the Rio Vista Police Department before being transported to Fairfield and booked into Solano County Jail. Webb now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges.

As of now, there is no information available about Webb’s current custody status, as a recent check of jail records yielded no results. Additionally, there is no record of his arraignment in Solano County Superior Court for the alleged crime.

However, online court records indicate that Webb has two upcoming hearings in January. One hearing is scheduled in civil court, while the other is in family court, both to be held respectively in the Old Solano Courthouse and Hall of Justice.
