Tragic Accident Claims Pregnant Woman’s Life in Wickenburg, Arizona

WICKENBURG, Ariz. (Gray News) – A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Wickenburg, Arizona, as an expectant mother tragically lost her life in a devastating crash earlier this week. The accident has left her husband seriously injured and battling for survival.

According to KSL reports, the collision occurred on U.S. 93, located in the vicinity of Wickenburg, approximately an hour outside of Phoenix, on a fateful Wednesday night.

Eyewitnesses reported that a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck was attempting to overtake other vehicles in a legal passing zone but tragically failed to complete the maneuver. As a result, it collided head-on with a white Volvo commercial truck, leading to a catastrophic impact and loss of life.

Tragically, Chloe Stott, a female passenger in the Toyota truck, succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver, identified as Parker Stott, her husband, suffered critical injuries and burns and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care.

The driver of the Volvo truck also sustained injuries and was promptly transported to the hospital. Fortunately, medical professionals expect him to recover from the accident.

This devastating incident took place as the Stott couple, excitedly expecting their first child, were en route to Arizona from Utah to share the joyous news of their pregnancy with their loved ones during the upcoming holiday season.

Jake Toolson, a close friend of the couple, shared their heartfelt intentions, stating, “They had just discovered the miracle of life growing within them and were overjoyed to embark on the journey of parenthood. Their plan was to surprise their dear ones with this incredible news during Christmas celebrations.”

Regrettably, Parker Stott’s condition remains critical, and he is currently receiving intensive care at the Arizona Burn Center, fighting for his life.
