Ocala, Florida – In a recent update, the Ocala Police Department has identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred on Friday evening. The victim has been identified as 34-year-old McKenzie Roundtree, according to Ocala police.

The incident took place around 7:15 p.m. when officers responded to a shooting call on Southwest 4th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a man with non-life-threatening injuries. However, the situation escalated further when the police received another call regarding a shooting on Southwest 1st Avenue.

Shortly after 8:20 p.m., authorities found a man dead with gunshot wounds in a vacant lot. The police department has not confirmed if the two shootings are connected.
