Prague University Shooting: Czech Republic Mourns After Worst-Ever Mass Shooting

The Czech Republic woke up to the shocking aftermath of a devastating mass shooting at Charles University in Prague. The nation is in mourning as it grapples with the aftermath of the country’s worst-ever mass shooting.

According to authorities, a gunman opened fire on Thursday afternoon, resulting in the tragic deaths of 14 people and injuring 25 others. The shooter, identified as a student at Charles University, had no previous criminal record and took his own life after the attack.

Minister of the Interior, Vít Rakušan, stated that officials are investigating the motive behind the attack, but there is no indication of any connection to international terrorism.
