Thane: In a distressing incident that unfolded in the Thane district of Maharashtra, a man tragically took his own life shortly after speaking to his wife. Heartbreakingly, he had called his wife solely to hear her voice before succumbing to despair.

According to the local police, Sudhakar Yadav resided with his wife, Sanjana, in the Dombivali region of the district. However, the 41-year-old couple had a heated argument on December 19, resulting in Sanjana leaving her husband and seeking refuge with her sister.

Sudhakar’s Heartbreaking Final Call

Nevertheless, the following day, Sudhakar made a phone call to his wife. During their conversation, he confessed that he had called solely to hear her voice for a mere two minutes. Shockingly, Sanjana later revealed to the police that Sudhakar had sent her a photograph via WhatsApp just moments before hanging himself.

Alarmed by the message and photograph, Sanjana urgently sought help from a neighboring resident to check on Sudhakar’s well-being. Despite repeated attempts to gain a response by knocking on the door, the concerned neighbor received no answer. Fearing the worst, the neighbor was left with no choice but to break into the residence. Upon entering, the neighbor was confronted with the devastating sight of Sudhakar’s lifeless body hanging from the ceiling.

Police Investigation to Uncover the Motive

A case has been registered at Vishnu Nagar Police Station, and the authorities are diligently working to determine the exact reason behind this tragic incident, the police informed.

Meanwhile, in another shocking incident that has sent shockwaves throughout Thane, a man brutally murdered his wife and two children with a cricket bat. The motive behind this heinous act is believed to stem from personal disputes.

The suspect, identified as Amit, remains at large, while the victims have been identified as Bhavna Bagri and her children, Khushi (6) and Ankush (8).

According to law enforcement, Amit had a history of alcohol abuse. Fed up with his destructive drinking habits, Bhavna had decided to seek refuge at the residence of a relative, taking her children with her.
