Police Search for Suspect in Shooting Death of Kleinburg Man

Authorities are currently on the lookout for a 29-year-old individual believed to be connected to the tragic shooting incident that claimed the life of a Kleinburg man in North York earlier this month.

The incident unfolded on December 9th, when reports of a man lying on the roadway near Oakland Avenue, just off Wilson Avenue, prompted the immediate response of investigators. At approximately 6:30 a.m., law enforcement arrived at the scene to find the victim in a critical condition.

Acting swiftly, paramedics rushed the injured man to the hospital via an emergency run. Tragically, despite their efforts, he was later pronounced dead.

The victim has since been identified as Roberto Lowndes, a 36-year-old resident of Kleinburg.

In light of the ongoing investigation, the police have now issued a nationwide warrant for the arrest of Luis Miguel Eucebio Severino on charges of first-degree murder. Severino, described as a muscular individual standing at five-foot-11, weighing 174 pounds, with black hair, black facial hair, and brown eyes, is being sought as a key suspect in the case.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about Severino’s whereabouts or any other details related to the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation.
