Arrest Made in Connection to Deadly Triple Shooting

Authorities have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of a fatal triple shooting that transpired in March. Law enforcement personnel have successfully apprehended and charged Kevin Foster, a 19-year-old suspect, in connection to the incident.

The Victims and the Shooting Incident

The shooting incident, which occurred on March 7, resulted in the tragic deaths of a 23-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy. The incident took place in the 2700 block of Bruce Place Southeast, Washington, D.C., at approximately 7:45 p.m. that evening.

Response and Discovery of the Victims

Upon receiving reports of the shooting, law enforcement officers swiftly responded to the scene. They discovered two male victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. One of the victims was immediately pronounced deceased at the location, while the other victim was transported to a nearby hospital by DC Fire and EMS for urgent medical attention. The deceased victim has since been identified as 23-year-old Dana Faulkner; however, no further updates regarding the surviving victim’s condition have been released by the police.

Additional Victim Found Unconscious

In a subsequent development, authorities received information about an unconscious individual near the vicinity of Wheeler Road and Mississippi Avenue in Southeast. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered a 15-year-old boy who had also sustained gunshot wounds. The young victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital. Tragically, the teenage boy succumbed to his injuries two days later. The teenager has been identified as Abdul Fuller, a resident of Southeast. Homicide detectives have confirmed that Fuller was injured during the same shooting incident on Bruce Place.

Arrest of Kevin Foster

Members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force successfully apprehended Kevin Foster in connection to the triple shooting. The specific details regarding Foster’s arrest have not been disclosed at this time. The upcoming court appearance for the accused has yet to be determined.
