RIO HONDO, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Father and Son Arraigned for Deadly Thanksgiving Racing Crash

An 18-year-old from Rio Hondo and his father were arraigned on Friday for their involvement in a racing accident that resulted in a fatality on Thanksgiving Day.

Reynaldo Mendoza, who is 18 years old, was arraigned on charges of racing on a highway involving death, accident causing death, and tampering with physical evidence. His father, Ernesto Mendoza, was arraigned on charges of tampering with physical evidence and providing a false report to a police officer.
