Man Stabbed Multiple Times in Violent Attack

A brutal stabbing incident has left a man hospitalized after sustaining 13 stab wounds, mostly in his side and back. Medical personnel attending to the victim, identified as Samuel, have reported the severity of the injuries, according to an affidavit.

The horrifying incident took place outside a residence where a woman named Haven Camden resides. Camden revealed that she had briefly left her daughter inside the house and upon her return, she witnessed the shocking sight of Samuel being attacked by an individual, later identified as Slot. As she yelled at Slot to stop, he quickly fled the scene in a truck, leaving the injured Samuel behind, as stated in court records.

Camden disclosed that she had previously been in a relationship with Slot, which had started in Nevada. Slot had later relocated to Washington to continue the relationship and even gave Camden a ring as a symbol of their commitment. However, Camden eventually decided to end the relationship and left the ring for Slot to collect from her mailbox, according to the affidavit.

During the investigation, authorities seized a baseball cap believed to be worn by Slot during the attack, as well as the ring he had given to Camden. These items have been sent to the Washington State Patrol crime lab for further analysis, as mentioned in court records.

Further developments in the case emerged when a neighbor came forward and informed the police that his 10-year-old daughter had witnessed a suspicious individual hiding near their house shortly before the authorities arrived. The man quickly fled across the street upon being discovered. However, the police had not yet interviewed the child at the time of the affidavit, leaving room for potential additional information.

On December 13, investigators were able to speak with the victim, Samuel, who revealed that he was not acquainted with Slot. However, Samuel stated that both he and Camden had contacted Slot regarding the return of the ring. Additionally, Samuel identified the truck driven by Slot as a Chevrolet Colorado, providing valuable information to aid in the ongoing investigation, as stated in court records.
