Gruesome Murder Shocks Thane: Man Kills Wife and Two Children in Kasarvadavali Area

Thane, Maharashtra – A horrifying incident unfolded in the Kasarvadavali area of Thane, Maharashtra, on Wednesday morning, leaving the city in shock. A man brutally murdered his wife and two children using a cricket bat, following a series of personal disputes. The accused, identified as Amit, is currently on the run. The victims have been identified as Bhavna Bagri, a 6-year-old girl named Khushi Bagri, and an 8-year-old boy named Ankush Bagri.

Background of the Accused

Amit, known to be a habitual drinker, had frequent altercations with his wife, Bhavna. Unable to bear the situation any longer, Bhavna had moved out of their house a few days ago, taking their children along with her, to live with a relative. However, Amit visited the relative’s house three days ago in an attempt to reconcile with Bhavna and convince her to return home.

According to a senior police officer, Vikas Bagri, the relative of the accused, left the house at 7 am for work and returned around 11.30 am. Upon opening the door, he discovered the lifeless bodies of Bhavna and the two children, with a wooden object lying near them. Vikas immediately alerted the police about the gruesome incident.

Efforts to Apprehend the Accused

Upon receiving the information, the police quickly arrived at the scene and sent the bodies for post-mortem tests. After the completion of the necessary procedures, the bodies will be handed over to the grieving family members. A case has been registered against Amit under relevant sections, and a manhunt is currently underway to apprehend him. It has been revealed that Amit hails from Haryana.

This shocking incident has left the community in a state of deep sorrow and disbelief. The authorities are working diligently to ensure justice is served and the accused is brought to face the consequences of his heinous act.
