In a tragic incident that unfolded on Wednesday night, a Las Vegas man has been accused of brutally murdering his girlfriend in a residence located in the northwest valley area. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has identified the suspect as 39-year-old Brandon Tenorio, who has been taken into custody and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges of open murder with a deadly weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping with a deadly weapon.

The lifeless body of Tenorio’s girlfriend was discovered by the police, who responded to a distress call, at a home near Fort Apache and Gowan roads at approximately 8 p.m. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed to the public at this time, was found to have suffered from severe trauma and apparent stab wounds. Tragically, medical first responders pronounced her dead at the scene, leaving the community shocked and devastated.

Following a meticulous investigation conducted by the LVMPD’s Homicide Section, it was determined that an argument had taken place between Tenorio and the victim. Unfortunately, the altercation took a violent turn when Tenorio allegedly attacked the woman with both a knife and a blunt object, causing her fatal injuries.

During the altercation, it is believed that another individual was present in the residence. However, Tenorio reportedly prevented this person from leaving. Fortunately, this individual managed to escape and immediately alerted the authorities, leading to the initiation of a comprehensive investigation and the eventual arrest of the suspect, Tenorio.
